One week
Today marks one week since the closing date of a job I applied for. I've got no news to tell, other than I still really, really, really want the job. It's got my name written all over it... now how do I let them know that I'm the one they want?!? I would be an assistant to the events coordinator in financial development. Everything I read in the job description reminded me of planning my wedding and events of that sort: So much fun!! I will let you know how things progress, and in the meantime, I'm trying not to get ahead of myself by planning trips to visit friends and family, updating my wardrobe, and buying a blueberry--I mean a blackberry.

If it's not this particular job, you know the Lord will have something just as good or better in mind for you!! Trust Him to do just what you need!! Love you, Mom
ReplyDeletePlease tell the details of the job.
ReplyDeleteDid you hear anything about the teaching job?
We're praying with you! dad
ReplyDeleteThanks, Mom and Dad! :)
ReplyDeleteAnd Corrie, yeah the teaching job fell through a long time ago. Oh well. This new job sounds like a lot more fun. It includes all aspects of organizing events, from the invitations to the seating chart. I'd also do some general office support: preparing, proofreading and finalizing correspondence; filing and managing mailings; scheduling meetings, preparing of gifts or items for presentation, and assisting callers and visitors to the office.
Rebekah, that sounds like it is right up your ally! Good luck!
