Yesterday my boss (store manager) gave me the good news: I got a raise!
Actually, everybody did. It was a union raise. But that's OK: 35 cents will make a positive difference anyway. I couldn't wait to tell Matt the good news.
A moment later, he added that I was chosen to receive the "merit raise," which puts me at a whopping $10 an hour!!!! WHOOO HOOOO!!! I couldn't believe it! I didn't even know a merit raise existed, but I'm sure glad it does :) God is good.
