What can I say? People just get comfortable in their relationship. When we finally admitted it to each other, we promised that we wouldn't hack into each other's emails accounts. The good news is, the anticipation is sweet :) Meanwhile, we're planning another short camping trip on the Delaware Water Gap next week.
There was a horrible monsoon all morning until after lunchtime. We had lunch in the cafeteria and waded through several inches of gushing water all over campus. Once the rain cleared, we went out for dessert and coffee in the next town over. Then, we ran errands! Sexy, I know. We came home and cleaned up and got ready for our first guest, Sam! We showed him around campus, had 1/2 a dinner in the cafeteria (for the experience), then another 1/2 dinner at home. We watched the Olympics together in the lounge downstairs. Thankfully, the kids' BO was considerably less noticeable... I made a lemon tart and Matt loves it.
Today, however, could have been my luckiest day EVER--aside from my wedding day. Look what I found at the local thrift store for a mere 7 dollars!!!
You can't tell in the picture, but this is tons of heavy fabric (canvas I believe). It's just folded over a lot. What is my next project? A reversible color block canvas bag! I cannot wait to start it, but I have to buy thread to match this beautiful bright colors. Good thing there's a teacher's sale this weekend! Whoo hooo!!

I am curious about those secret gifts ordered! Happy Anniversary to the "sexy couple!" And what a great find!! How MANY canvas bags will all that make?? Love you & MISS YOU, Mom
