Rebekah's goals for this week:

Monday:
-Do not freak out.
-Plan first 2-week unit for AP French (solidarity with my sister Sarah who has her first day of work)
-Print summer pictures, frame them and attempt to hang them on the concrete walls.
-Learn how to use an audio grading program.

Tuesday:
-Do not count down from yesterday.
-If materials arrive in the mail, decorate bulletin board in classroom.
-International students take over the dorm for their orientation.
-Bake brownies for GCF.
-Plan first 3 week unit for French 3 (but I have 3 different sections of it, which means three slightly different plans since they meet on different days and for different amounts of time).

Wednesday:
-Do not panic.
-International students still present.
-Bake butterscotch cookies for Matthew.
-Continue lesson planning.

Thursday:
-Do NOT freak out.
-International students leave.
-Prefects (like dorm student RAs) move in.
-Go to the beach?

Friday:
-STOP freaking out.
-Memorize the Bible to occupy thoughts.

Saturday:
-Try to calm the butterflies.
-New students move into dorm. Meet parents. Memorize names.
-Saturday night duty begins... need snack!

Sunday:
-Sleep in... if possible.
-Returning students move into dorm. Meet parents. Memorize names.
-Convocation.
-Breathe deeply all afternoon.
-Grin and bear the noise level of shreaking, goofy and excitable girls with NO homework hanging over their heads.
-Weekly Sunday night duty begins... need snack!
-Attempt to sleep tonight... sleeping pill?

Monday:
-Keep calm.
-Get dressed.
-First day of class. (Will I remember everyone's names from 3 months ago?)
-Meet new advisees.
-Reward myself if I made it through the day without passing out or vomiting.
