Countdown

 Everyone has been asking us when Matthew leaves for France and how we feel about it. He leaves on the 10th and this is how we feel about it:

Rebekah without Matthew equals: 
-a loss of perspective & big picture (more stress!)
-increased blood pressure
-house smells better
-bed always made and sheets
-doesn't have to answer "where are the keys?"
-small purchases not accounted for
-no more daily Tebow updates
-on time to church
-trash overflowing
-bills unpaid
-rotting food at the BACK of the fridge
-books where they belong


Matthew without Rebekah equals: 
-no more country music
-all cookies in a box are his
-wrinkled shirts
-laundry overflowing
-sheets untucked
-unbalanced diet
-potato chips return to the top of the food pyramid
-beard
-no more chauffeur
-doesn't have to answer to "who are you?" from a sleep-talking wife
-can leave books and notebooks all over the floor, always
