It's finally starting to feel like summer around here... We finally reached the 80s and there was a beautiful blue sky with white puffy clouds. Perfection. We'd been getting sick of the overcast, windy and rainy weather, and unfortunately I think it's still in the forecast. My sister-in-law and her hubby will soon be sorely disappointed (and cold!) when they come up for a visit from Florida...
Anyway, Matt & his dad helped his brother with his (exterior) house painting job. I, on the other hand, spent the morning with my sister-in-law and my two favorite nieces and nephews (well, my only ones for now--Sarah?). We read and played, then headed for the library, and the toy library! Now there's a great idea I haven't seen elsewhere: a library loan system for cool and sometimes big and expensive toys! As if parents of young children can afford all the toys they want and then have room for them all... Why don't they have these everywhere?? If we ever have a family, I hope to live close to a toy library.
Wouldn't it be cool if we could have a library for other things, like furniture? or clothes? or cars? or husbands?
Oooooohh, I'm bad.

I would be a very happy woman indeed if there were a craft library--rubber stamps, ink pads, funky scissors and other supplies!
