These are the best CHEWY chocolate chip cookies you'll ever eat. In fact, I feel so strongly about this statement, that I don't think any of you could bake me a better batch, but I'll gladly read your counter recipes.
I found it not too long ago when I misplaced my regular (and fairly new) recipe. Matt says these are his ALL TIME favorite. Where's my trophy?
I would've included a picture of these delights, but they were gone too quickly.
INGREDIENTS
1 cup butter
1 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup white sugar
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
(BEAT BATTER)
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
(BEAT BATTER)
2 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
(BEAT BATTER)
12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
Drop batter on un-greased pan (they will spread a little)
Bake for 11-13 minutes at 350 degrees
Check for doneness: they can cool a little bit on pan
Transfer to cooling rack and put booby traps around them against the Cookie Monster (aka: Matt)
