- Spotting iguanas sunning themselves in the sun
- Holding a blue and green squirrel monkey
- Breakfast at a cafe known for its Mayan chocolate drinks and goodies
- Realizing that "Bimbo" was the name of a bread company
- Beautiful beaches!!
- Finding real Mexican "restaurants" and eating mom and pop's delicious tacos and refreshing lime water
Lowlights:
- Are we in Mexico? Ultra commercialized streets filled with shopping and restaurants (including Starbucks, Burger King and Subway) made it seem like we could be anywhere! Oh, that and the hundreds of gringos!
