First impressions

This is a scene from "Hoodwinked" (super cute movie) and it's perfect for what happened the other day.

Let me set the stage: Matt had been sick for a while and it was the first day on antibiotics, so he got dressed! I even made the bed since he wasn't in it. Still, there were clothes and blankets everywhere, books ALL over the ground, used tissues scattered, and plenty of dirty dishes, especially cups and mugs everywhere. Matt is in his chair, books & tissues surrounding him, working at his computer. I'm teaching.

Suddenly, he hears voices outside the front door and two light knocks and before he knows it, keys are unlocking the door!
--"And so here's Eva's apartment," says a man giving a tour to a woman.
Then he stops short. Matt and him look at each other. Woman waits to see what happened.

Apparently, the dean forgot that Eva moved to a different dorm. I  wonder if the woman, a teaching candidate, will want to come here in the fall if apartments look as awful as ours did.
