Guests in Papa's classroom

Today, Kent and I were guest speakers in Matt's class. I did the talking and Kent did the charming. He gave everyone fist bumps as a greeting and happily ate his muffin while I answered the students' questions. It was a really nice time and the students were so kind and engaging.

I had to comply with the school dress code, so Kent wore his Papy's bow tie from when he was a little one. I've never heard so many compliments on any bow tie! I was proud to say that it belonged to my Dad.
He kept saying "ball". Surprise, surprise!
That smile never gets old.
 Goofball.

The rest of the morning we spent outside: I sat on some steps or a nearby bench and Kent dug around in rocks (landscape) and sand and picked up sticks to his heart's content. He hung out on the deck while I warmed up lunch and he was DELIGHTED to find me through the window.
He's certainly LOVING these 60 degree days.

  2. I love that little bow tie! He sure knows how to turn on the charm. And I'm glad the weather is warming up - Kent seems so delighted to be outside! Loved the video :)
