We're a "B family" in an A-class town, and these are a few of our experiences as newlyweds.

Pompoms!
Kent likes to scoop and dump food when he's no longer hungry, but I couldn't think of anything he could scoop and dump besides dried beans, and I thought that might be too dangerous. So I got some pompoms! In the beginning, he really liked taking them in and out of a bowl....
... but soon enough he found the rest of the bag and he dumped it all over the floor, handful by handful. He was so proud of himself.
He started walking all over them. I took off his socks so he could feel their fuzziness better. I also took the giant ones and tickled his face with it and he did it back to me, saying "aawww" again and again. It's so fun to watch him imitate what we do!
Because the experience was so new, he was all smiles and burst into giggles at the little things.
I can't get enough of his laughs. The next morning, he wanted to play with the pompoms again and couldn't finish his breakfast fast enough to get down!
Isn't nice when life is so simple and exciting when all it takes is a bag of pompoms?
Awwwww. I miss that laugh so so much! What a great idea to rain pom-poms! So much better than rain or snow!
ReplyDeleteYou're so creative, Shao-Shen! Yes. His laugh is contagious! Miss you, Kent. Papy
