Finally Spring!

You know it's spring when you can put away those flannel sheets. On Monday, I had absolutely no plans. None. It was going to be a high of 60 degrees and we needed to be outside, but just something more exciting than the back yard. A librarian told me about a nature reserve park in a nearby town so we decided to check it out in the morning while we were fresh and before the crowds came. After all, it is school vacation so there were bound to be tons of families out and about.

The fields were gorgeous. Yellow and white and green everywhere. It smelled divine. It was a perfect spot to let Kent run free and he was SURPRISINGLY very gentle with the flowers. Luckily, we had practiced with the few daffodils outside our dorm.

I had too many favorites, so here are all my pictures from that day. Enjoy!

He got down as soon as I had him seated. Stinker.
Kent took this one. He wanted to push the button.

If we could have stayed longer, we would have explored the trails a little more. All we could do was walk the short 0.5 mile back to the parking lot. By the time we got back to the car, it read 71 degrees!

This would be a great place to hike again in the future!
