When we were in Mexico, my parents taught Kent to point to his nose, eyes, ears and mouth. We've since added a few more body parts and it was so easy! It took about a day to teach him - seriously, this kid is quite a sponge for information.

They also taught him where Jesus lives.

We have a book about the alphabet and it has pictures for words that start with the letter on its page. He loves to point to the guitar in the book and the guitar in the living room. He does the same for flag, flowers, shoes, socks and xylophone. It's so fun to see him so excited to point from 2D to 3D. He'll also point to objects and whine "eh! eh!! EH!!" and he'll continue to pester you until you name the object. Then he's fine.
