I'm DOOOONNNNNEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!

My exam was Tuesday. I've been grading and writing term comments ever since. All I have left to do is get them approved, make any corrections and resubmit!

Nevermind that my files are all a mess... there's time this summer to reorganize and purge everything. For now, I'm making food for our end-of-year BBQ and it'll be great. Next week, there are faculty meetings for three days, but then I'm really really done.

This afternoon, I'll be meeting with my dorm supe(rvisor) Sarah. She'll tell me everything I have to know about how to run the dorm and what to do when. I have plenty of questions because I hardly know what goes on on campus. We might even start planning what the dorm theme should be for next year! I would like to suggest a bird theme because I still have about 35 knitted nests and our mascot is the falcon anyway... We'll see what Sarah thinks.

We've put a lot of our items up for sale online. So far, we've only sold our 4 outdoor plastic chairs for $15. Matt didn't realize until afterwards that I had bought them for $5 last summer. I'm wondering if a yard sale (with the help of other grad student families) would be better... I've been itching to start packing down and purging!! This morning, I washed our front porch handrails and polls. Goodbye mud and mold, hello white!

Matt has recently put a ban on grocery shopping. With two weeks left here, I did NOT agree, but then I had to swallow my pride when he put together a fabulous taco soup. Oops. I love you honey!

  1. I totally understand the ban!! It's a pain to pack the leftover non-perishables from the cupboard! So glad you're about done!! Love you, Mom
