A mysterious pain

Yesterday, my left wrist started hurting while I was folding clothes. I did very little folding yesterday since the store stayed neat (= no customers), so the pain came out of nowhere. I didn't fall, knock it on anything, lift any heavy boxes, or tackle anyone. Even last night as we were preparing to go to Bible study, I leaned my left hand on the bed as I put on my shoe, and almost collapsed! Thankfully, there was a bed right there :) The pain only occurs when I press down on something (palm down). When we broke up into small groups for prayer, I mentioned my hurting wrist and one of the students--a seminary student--said, "oh, let me look at it. I'm a physical therapist!" Matt and I were totally shocked. It's not often that you meet a student who has a completely different degree than the one they are currently pursuing. So that was funny. He looked, poked, squeezed, pulled and bent it in all different ways--no pain. I showed him how it hurt: pressing down on a table (even really lightly). It always happens to me that a pain mysteriously disappears when I finally get to a doctor. Murphy's law?
