He woke up several times in the first two hours after bedtime, then he spiked a 100 degree fever again at 1 am and was up for an hour as the meds kicked in. He woke up at 5 am and his fever had gone down, then slept a little more until 6:30.
I took Kent to the drugstore first thing this morning and he picked out all kinds of feel-better drugs. I was soooo happy to find baby vapor rub and this contraption which has been graded A+++ by nearly 5 thousand people online. If only I can get him to be still for a moment, I'm hopeful it'll do a better job than the hospital aspirator we have. We'll see.
The only thing that I can imagine worse than a sick baby crying all night is a sick mama and a sick baby, and sick with the flu. I know it's happened to poor parents out there, so I'm thankful for the progress.
This "contraption" you speak of... is it that thing where you suck the baby's mucus out of a tube? If so, I've also heard amazing things. Hope the drugstore finds help!!
