Staying awake for dorm duty was challenging, but my prefect did a great job running the weekly bonding activity. I'm so glad that she volunteered to take the first Tuesday back!! At 11:30 pm, I gave Kent a dream feed and I crawled into bed, trying to convince myself that he wouldn't wake up in the next hour. I don't know if it was all of my positive energy, or answered prayer, or a turn for the better, but we both slept until 6:30 am!!! I can't tell you how happy I was for that long stretch of sleep. What a gift.
Better yet, Matthew comes home tomorrow night!

What a relief!!! I hope he can keep this up :). There is nothing more glorious than a long uninterrupted stretch of sleep. Nothing!
