I didn't always like my name. I thought it was too long. It was also not very popular. My parents didn't call me by any nicknames (but later in high school I was Bek or Becca). Most of all, it was difficult to spell. AND I could never find my own name on those little keychain or a shotglass or a toy license plate... all of which are very useful for a 10 year old. Seriously.
Today, I love my name for all of the same reasons I used to dislike it (except for spelling it--that remains difficult for businesses or colleagues).

So there you go. You can also see the past year's and see which are the favorite names. Matthew and Peter and Grace and even Nana (!) are still more popular than mine, but that's ok.
I just hope we get to my storm this year. I think we're up to Chantal.
