Meet Daisy

Before you go thinking that you all have a new Granddoggy, let me explain that we're dogsitting for some friends as they go on vacation. This is Daisy and she's a mutt... but she's definitely got a hunter's streak. She goes crazy when she sees birds and squirrels. C-R-A-Z-Y. 

Daisy arrived in the morning yesterday and by dinner time, we thought: "Wow. This is a lot of work." We went for many walks because she's so young and kinda big and really enjoyed being outside. 

Inside though, she follows us around especially when there's food in the picture: preparing food, grabbing a handful of nuts, putting food away, making tea, doing the dishes... When we sit at the table, she doesn't whine or bark but she will put her head on our laps.

 As soon as we move, she's up and curious and following us around.

 Oh, she found a ball! Happy for a few minutes.

 She's in the way in our tiny narrow kitchen.

 But how can you not love this adorable dog?
