If you've lived through high school, you know about DTR. It's the type of uber life-changing conversation that is a MUST if a relationship is going to face any kind of depth. "Define The Relationship" talks are always awkward, always emotional, always dramatic, and always end with the girl running to her girlfriends to spit out every last detail over high-pitched squeals and hugs. For those DTRs that end well, that is.
We recently had a DTR with Lilah, our cat.
When she wants to come in, she will jump up on the 1/4 inch frame of our door, hanging by her nails about a foot above ground. She's relentless.
She spends her days grooming, sleeping, playing and eating. She's right at home.
But every so often, we won't see her for a couple of days, and it's sad. We wonder where she is and we find ourselves hoping she didn't forget about us.
Then today, I came home from work to see this:
Do you see it? Look closely.
This is the start of something real special.
