A woman comes into the store and wants to buy some on-sale stuff. What she didn't realize was that the sale price is for members only (side-note: few customers read the signs while shopping). Unfortunately, she isn't a member.
She pleads with my manager Lisa to "please give me the discount anyway". Lisa politely says, "I'm sorry, but I can't."
The customer says, "But that's not fair!"
No, ma'am. It's not fair.
