It was in the 50s today so we planned to spend some time outside, and we were lucky to see a bobcat and another maintenance vehicle pull up on our grass just as we were heading out. Kent was SO excited to see what they were up to. He didn't run off or get in harm's way. He just sort of stood there, love-struck.
Then one of the maintenance crew workers asked if he wanted to sit in the bobcat. Um, yeah!!!
I think he really enjoyed watching them. I took the opportunity to ask about our yard area being so wet and soggy and march-y and if there was anything to do about it. They said "not really" because the sump pump empties out right there and also "you're kind of on top of the water anyway" - meaning the dorm was so close to the bay. True. I'm still hoping they can dump gravel there because every time Kent steps in that area, his foot sinks in 2 inches, he loses his balance and then he falls right in the mud.
And we all know how much toddlers love getting their clothes changed....

So fun!
