Toe Jam Puppet Band

On President's Day, I got together with a friend to take our toddlers to the zoo. Every Monday they have the Toe Jam Puppet Band perform. These guys are incredible toddler entertainers. They have true skill and energy like I've never seen before. They are really fun. I took Kent a week ago for the first time and decided to go again this week.

So did 400 other families.

I should have realized that a holiday + the first day of February break = waaaayyyyy too large of a crowd. Duh.
The first time, there were maybe 20 kids. This time, it was so crowded that you really had to find a spot and park there and not move. The kids could hardly dance or wiggle and some families decided to leave after 10 minutes. Luckily, that made more breathing room for us, but it was still chaos.
Kent took his ukulele this time because last time he saw other kids had theirs and tried to steal them.
We agreed that we would share our ukulele with friends. Kent says Ppfffffffttt!!!
And promptly takes it back. He's working on it.
I didn't get a picture of this but they had a bubble gun, a snow machine (!!), and another special water bottle for kids to volunteer to quickly squirt as many adults as they could during a song.

Afterwards, we had to take a picture with the guys. Singers, dancers, guitar players and bubble makers might as well be Santa to Kent.
