Anyway, there's a great scene in that movie where he's trying to figure out how to make fire so that he can stay warm and cook fish and stuff. He attempts several times, each one bringing him more frustration and desperation. He's already a psychological mess, emotional and hungry. Finally, the scene changes and we see him dancing ecstatically around his HUGE bonfire, screaming "Look what I have createeeeedddd!!" in a sort of mad-scientist tone of voice.
I have often wanted to scream that phrase at different points in my life. When I have sucessfully completed a knitting project, when I reorganize the bathroom linen closet, when I bake coconut cake, when I make spreadsheets, when I plan a cool activity for my students, when I finish making a final exam, and when I make bread.
Perfect with soup. Or, NUTELLA!
No breadmaker then? Hooray for artisan bread.
