New do!

I was terribly embarrassed to tell my hairdresser how long it had been since my last haircut. It's one of those things where the average population's time table and the hairdressers' time table always clashes. They would have you come in every 4-6 weeks if they could manage our schedules, but who has that kind of money? Especially in this town? Luckily, this was my first time at a new salon in town, and one that only charges $35 for "new talent". I was delighted to find Green Mountain hot drinks and cold drinks, cookies and Hershey kisses in the waiting area.

When I answered "August" she gave me a little condescending "uh hmm". But that's ok. I deserved it. My overgrown, heavy, slit-ends hair was mad at me anyway.
