Life as a pedestrian

Since losing my bike, I've spent a lot of time on my feet walking to and from school. When I walk my head tends to bobble, my gaze passing from one distraction to another.
Today, while walking past a trash bin I spied a large T-Rex toy - should I take it? What would I do with it? What if they see me in their trash? What if one of my professors lives here? As I weighed my options, I noticed a lottery ticket on the ground. It was ready to be played. I grabbed it this time not caring if my mystery professor saw me or not, and with my serendipitous find in hand, I was convinced that the $20,000 grand prize was mine. I read the instructions and scratched away.

It was not the expected life-changing sum, but I still came home with 25 unearned dollars and a new addiction.

  1. LOL! I've heard the best chance you have at winning in the lottery is by picking tickets up off the ground! :o)

I'm addicted to garbage picking too! This summer we got an incubator with a egg turner and a lawn rake! Wow! I've also gotten a large number of toys in the past.

Now, you're going to have to get Matthew to share his trusty grabber.
