Hale bay

I first heard of spoonerisms as an undergraduate, but rarely heard any unintentional examples in everyday speech. That changed yesterday. When driving down the road, Rebekah remarked that she wanted a 'hale bay' - she meant to say a hay bale. I don't know of an official explanation for this phenomenon; regardless, I found it pretty fang dunny.
