Bryce was our next stop. It was such a long drive (to Rebekah, the super impatient one) but at least it was beautiful. We stayed in a little motel and Kent was in a pack and play in the same room, but behind a wall by the bathroom area. It was tough not having him 100% separated from us because he would poke his head around and try to see us and talk to us. Stinker.
Kent was ready to run off of cliffs. Needless to say, he stayed in the carrier for 99% of our hikes.
Some parts were really steep.
Kent found a rock.
There was a pool at our motel and with his floaties, Kent was all of a sudden very confident and would go down the first and second steps then "leap" off of the third and float by himself. He was so proud of that. As much fun as water parks have been, I still can't get him to tolerate water over his face during his bath. What gives?

We remember how breathtaking Bryce is. Good call to keep Kent away from the edge. You crack me up. Kent found a rock. What incredible frame worthy pictures you have there...gifts for the grands?? hint hint. Kisses from Nana
ReplyDeleteBryce canyon was one of our favorite places to visit! Glad you didn't let Kent run headlong over the cliff. You are such good parents ;). My boys are totally into finding rocks and sticks too - especially Henry!
