Kent is 5 months old!

Kent's biggest accomplishment this month is getting fat. He's becoming quite a chunker in his thighs and in his face. I keep trying to stuff him into my favorite onesies, but I just need to let them go.

Though we've stopped rice cereal momentarily as we try to figure out the best formula for his digestive system, he still eats it willingly and opens up his mouth for more!

He also likes to chew on every thing, especially blankets or clothing. He'll bring any blanket up to his mouth to gum it, which saves Mama from wiping his face after dinner.

We recently acquired a bouncy seat and even though he's a little small for it, a box under his feet makes all the difference.

Next to bouncing, his next favorite activity is being thrown into the air by Papa while Mama sweats bullets and supervises, nags, cautions, gasps, and plays catcher just in case.

Kent has found his feet and loves grabbing at his toes, especially at the changing table. It makes diaper changes so much easier! Thanks, buddy! In this new position, he's also turned over a couple of times from back to tummy. Of course, every time he's done it, I have been washing out poopy diapers. Next time, it'll be Matt's turn.

He loves to make spit bubbles. Often when we're driving, we hear him blowing bubbles in the back seat and giggling to himself. Don't watch this video if you've got a weak stomach.

We went to a living farm one weekend and Kent got to see sheep, work horses, chickens and pigs. We all took a ride on a wagon. Kent was the only one in dress code with his John Deere shirt!
