Long overdue

I know, I know. I owe you all lots of pictures. Kent has changed so much already in these first 10 days of his life. He gets cuter and cuter, even though it doesn't get easier to read his cues. We'll get there eventually.

I don't have enough time to write captions for each, or share a lot of stories right now (or ever?) because he's snoozing and that's precious time for me.

Skin to skin. Lots of emotions.
I couldn't take a picture from my angle, so Matt had to take a selfie.
Mom's genius idea to get Kent to sleep on his own, without being in someone's arms. She made fake arms!
This is our favorite look. Love those big eyes.
 Activity time?
 Matt's a pro.
Family photo on one of the sunniest days... it's been too gray here.
 Eskimo kisses.
 Yawn.
 Loved.
 Talkin'
 Gassy.
Daddy time.
Mommy time. My favorite way to hold the baby. So small. Love to feel his breath on my neck.
(I have some videos, but they are too long to upload here. I have to figure out a way to get them to youtube first.)

We can't wait for all of the family to meet him and love him up!

  1. AHHHHH!!! All of these pictures are my favorite!! I can't get over how absolutely adorable little Kent is. I've been making too many googly eyes at the computer and now Max is worried :D. And you look AMAZING for having just had a baby!! (Were you wearing makeup during labor/delivery!? Looks like it!) Soooo glad you're enjoying all the newborn snuggles. You'll cherish these pictures someday soon :)

  2. These are so great! The captions are perfect. If I had to pick a favorite it would be the Eskimo kisses shot, for the out-loud "awe!" (Although the "awes" are pretty frequent around here being with Kent!) Love you, Mom
