Rebekah hasn't written in a while, so I'm going to pick up her slack.
Last week I spent five days in Colorado on vacation. On the flight out I had two turkey dogs because my neighbor offered me his after looking at the list of ingredients. I chose not to read the packaging and to eat them as fast as I could. I had not noticed that only one bathroom was open and that the line was growing. That was my first mistake.
On the bright side, I resisted temptation. In the back of all the seats, Direct TV had installed personal TV's that one could watch with the swipe of a credit card ($6). For the beginning of the flight, I had a bright screen begging me to enter the world of live TV. I found the off button thankfully.
I stayed in Marblle: population 85, dentists 0. As much as I was hoping for wild mountain people, the residents were all quite normal. One thing I immediately noticed was the pleasant smell of mountain air, probably the aspen trees. Coming from NJ, it was nice although to be fair its reputation is exaggerated. Some people are fighting back: http://jerseydoesntstink.com/
When I got back home, life returned to normal. Some things I had been saving were conspicuously missing, and my room had been rearranged. I didn't say anything.

A little fairy has been busy! Same thing happens here when Randy is gone. At least the furniture wasn't rearranged!!! Jan
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a fun time, Matt! Can't wait to see you both in CA :)
ReplyDeleteI feel your pain, Matt. Randy
