Less than 5 minutes away from our house, there's a gymnastics and dance studio called Kaleidoscope. I recently learned that they have a 45 minute open gym 3 days a week for only $5!!! That's FIVE dollars for the WEEK. Amazing. I wish their regular gymnastics classes were more affordable, but for now, we've enjoyed our time there.
Kent goes for the trampoline first because he LOVES jumping!! I could barely get a good shot.

Then we convinced him to hang on some bars since that's what he does ALL the time: on stairway railings, on your arm, on a table ledge, on the curtains, etc...
The last 2 minutes, he explored other things. On Wednesday he tried out a low balance beam (foamy) and thought that was fun, but instead he went for the balls and the rocking "boat" as he called it.
When it's time to go, the employees offer hand stamps at the exit door. It's only does so much to soothe those toddlers who just don't want to leave The Awesome Place. The first time he got his hand stamp, that's all he talked about on the way home. This is reaction on our third visit (and as you can see, he's starting to get camera shy):
How great is that!! Maybe someday Kent will be a gymnast...who knows? So neat he can expend all that energy despite the weather. He is growing up so so quickly. Tell him to slow down just a bit!! Huge bear hug from Nana
