It's finally long weekend and it's FINALLY WARM. It's a true miracle, really. It went from cold to hot in a matter of 2-3 days. Yesterday's high was 76 and today is supposed to be 81!!!! Crazy, crazy, crazy.
Even though it's nice to be on a quiet campus and in a quiet dorm, we need (and I especially need) a change of view. It's good to physically leave your home and workplace for a bit, so Matt and I are spending today and tomorrow closer to the shore. Matt found us a little cabin at a state park. We'll bring our bikes and books and walking sticks. It'll be so relaxing to spend time outside in the fresh air and warm sun.
Plus, I got this great little skort from Columbia (via TJ Maxx for $19.99!) that's quick dry! Perfect for hiking, biking and camping (and you know how much I hate shorts).
