I don't like this blogging thing (even though many of my friends and family members are into it), because I find it to be a very impersonal way of keeping in touch with people, and because bloggers tend to post very exciting news on their blog, without taking the time to make a personnal announcement...
But I know, I can hear you say it already: "But it's so hard to keep in touch with everyone!" I've heard myself say it too.
I'm not sure that I'll be as faithful to this form of communication as I think I will be, but I'll try--especially since we're leaving everyone and everything we know and embarking on new adventure!
Our first new adventure already (without formally leaving our current home): on our way out the door to Church, Rebekah accidentally locked us out of our apartment for the first time, TWO DAYS before we were to turn in the keys!! Uh oh. Options: 1. call landlord and pay $25 or 2. break into our apartment. We chose the latter. Matt did his best impression of George of the Jungle, and climbed his way up to the second floor by way of the balconies, nearly falling on top of Rebekah while she was tense, wide-eyed and holding her breath down below. Everything turned out well, until we came home to an insectarium. Matt, basking in self elogies, left the screen door open.
